Horns were blasting—3 times, leaving harbor—for our dear friends, Johna and Vlad, intrepid kayak bloggers of windagainstcurrent. They tied the knot (hitch? bowline? Nah, diamond!) yesterday aboard the Atlantica at Pier 61 in NYC. We geeks were there with bells on (instead of neoprene for a change) and enjoyed a 6-hour tour on the Hudson to Staten Island and the East River. Mazel tov! Where’s my hanky?
