It seems that Kuno, our parrot, has made a new friend in the building (Perry the peregrine falcon?). We can only imagine the inner dialogues going on around here when we’re not home…
Kuno (far right): Good morning, cousin! Millet is delicious, don’t you agree?
Perry: (very far left, silhouetted on window ledge): !!!!!!!!
Pink Floyd to Isadora: Don’t worry, babe. I’ve got this.
How wonderful….love the intense look you captured 🙂
Thanks, Seonaid! It was clearly a juvenile (there’s a nest on top of our building). He/she wasn’t too worried about me tiptoeing closer and closer… (haha, maybe that shows how dirty our windows truly are!). Anyway, the photo isn’t a “zoom”—just our camera on the other side of the glass. :0

Wow – Peregrines nesting on your building – very, very cool. That guy does look intense, but in a sweet way somehow.
We think so, too! Nonetheless, he is NOT invited inside. We’ve had a big family of them here in recent years. It’s fun to watch the kids grow up — (Perry is a juvenile; seems he was hanging out on our ledge after a first flight… maybe it didn’t go so well!)
